Admissions
St Luke’s Applying for a place
Whether the admission is a normal round secondary transfer or an in year admission, all parents must make an application for their child to be admitted to a state-funded school or academy using a Common Application Form from Devon County Council.
If you would like more detailed information about admission to secondary school in Devon, including selection and over-subscription criteria and an explanation of the process of applying for a school place, please visit the school admissions pages on Devon County Council’s website or call the Education Helpline on 0345 155 1019.

St Luke’s Church of England School
The Ted Wragg Academy Trust is the admissions authority for our school, responsible for the admissions policies and decisions when there is an application for admission. We have an admissions policy for each academic year. Policies are written to comply with the School Admissions Code 2021 and the School Admissions Appeals Code 2022. We take part in the normal round and the in-year coordinated admissions schemes of Devon County Council.

There is an appeals process if an application is refused; this is detailed at School admission appeals – Education and Families (devon.gov.uk)
